Glades Minnow

The Glades Minnow is a pattern designed to imitate the ubiquitous mosquitofish that snook feed on all winter in backcountry snook ponds. The ostrich tail provides movement even when the fly is fished very slowly while the laser dub and mallard flank head provide the right profile and coloration to fool wary laid up snook in clear, cold water. Tied on a #1 hook with a single post mono weedguard.
